Q: What are the requirements in renting a vehicle for self-drive?
A: Renter’s Passport, Driver's license, Proof of billings like (Meralco bill, PLDT bill, Cable bill), valid ID’s with picture, E-ticket if OFW's or foreigner, and refundable deposit, delivery & pick-up charge.
Q: What if my driver’s license is from another country?
A: Driver’s license issued from another country can be used and valid for 90 days from the date of their arrival.
Q: Can I reserve for a specific color and car make?
A: Yes, you can and we will, but in some instances that we are unable to guarantee your specific vehicle we will assure you that we will be providing matching the standards of the vehicle you prefer. For example, if you reserve a Toyota Vios automatic all power, we will giving you either a Kia Rio or Nissan Sentra or other car with the same features as well.
Q: What is MTRAC grace period?
A: There is generally a 30 minute grace period for daily rentals. If the vehicle is returned within 2 hours of the time it was rented on a subsequent day additional hourly charges will apply. If you return the vehicle 6 hours or more from the time it was rented on a subsequent day, you will be charged for an additional day of rental.
Q: What happens if there’s an accident during the rental period, what will be my participation?
A: Renter must notify the company immediately and must report that accident to the nearest police station and secure a police report.
Q: What is the policy on off-road driving?
A: All vehicles are to be operated only on regularly maintained roads. Off roads use is a violation of a rental agreement.
Q: Is the inter-island using RORO (Roll-on Roll-off) or FERRY on nautical highway is allowed?
A: No, inter-island in not allowed. It is a violation of rental agreement.
Q: How can I reserve a vehicle?
A: You can book online outright at MoneyTree Rent A Car or you can make a call to our office. We accept reservation thru online or mobile phone.
Q: How can I sign a rental agreement and submission of documents?
A: Signing of Rental Agreement and submission of requirements will take place upon turn-over of the vehicle.
> Full payment upon boarding on vehicle.
> Reservation should be 3 to 2 weeks or 10 days prior to schedule booking.
> A vehicle that is returned after hours will not be checked in until the next business
day. If returning after hours when the office is closed, the customer is responsible for
the vehicle until the satisfactory check in of the rental vehicle the next business day.
